Originally scheduled for release in theaters in 2020, the film was put on the shelf due to Wuhan coronavirus and all movie theaters in the world being closed. It subsequently bypassed theaters and debuted on Video On Demand on July 7, 2020, (after a brief run in a handful of Drive-In theaters around the country).
The film was independently released by the filmmaker. The Paramount Pictures affiliation on the movie poster and film’s website is fraudulent. Paramount Pictures never invested in the film, nor agreed to release it. In fact, Variety was duped into writing a story featuring fraudulent information about the studio’s affiliation with the film.
