The movie Capone tells the story of the ruthless businessman and bootlegger who ruled Chicago with an iron fist, Al “Fonzo” Capone (Tom Hardy).
During the 1920s and 30s he was the most infamous and feared gangster in America. At the age of 47, following nearly a decade of imprisonment, dementia rots Capone’s mind and his past becomes present as harrowing memories of his violent and brutal origins melt into his waking life.
Originally scheduled for release in 2020, the film bypassed movie theaters due to the Wuhan coronavirus and all movie theaters in the world being closed. It went straight to Video On Demand on May 12, 2020.
