Beware of Dog was nominated for the 2020 Slamdance Film Festival’s Grand Jury Prize for Best Narrative Feature.
It tells the story of three young adults experiencing parallel struggles with mental health and identity. In Moscow a woman struggles with severe Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), while her cousin in Berlin tries to build a romantic relationship ignoring her own mental issue. Meanwhile, in a parallel New York City realm, a heartbroken boxer struggles with addiction, self-worth, and online anxiety–which connects all the characters on a universal level.
