The 30th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival (PSIFF) will be held Thursday, January 3 through Monday, January 14, 2019.

On Thursday, January 3, the annual Film Awards Gala will kick off the festival at the Palm Springs Convention Center. The list of honorees for the 2019 Film Awards Gala, so far, includes:

Spike Lee – Career Achievement Award
Melissa McCarthy – Spotlight Award
Alfonso Cuarón – Sonny Bono Visionary Award
Green Book – Vanguard Award
Regina King – Chairman’s Award
Glenn Close – Icon Award
Olivia Coleman – Desert Palm Achievement Award – Actress
Bradley Cooper – Director of the Year Award
The 2018 Palm Springs Film Festival, a star-studded event, hosted by Mary Hart, honored Mary J. Blige, Timothée Chalamet, Jessica Chastain, Willem Dafoe, Gal Gadot, Holly Hunter, Allison Janney, Gary Oldman, Sam Rockwell, Saoirse Ronan and The Shape of Water. More than 2,500 guests attend the event which kicks off Awards season. Tickets are now on sale.
The screening portion of the festival will run Friday, January 4 through Monday, January 14. On January 4, the festival will run all day screenings with the official Opening Night screening taking place that evening at Richards Center for the Arts with a party to follow at the Palm Springs Art Museum.
The festival will close on Sunday, January 13, with Best of the Fest screenings taking place Monday, January 14.
