The Shape Of Water received a plethora of 2018 Oscar nominations, the most of the year, 13.

The Shape Of Water tells the story of a monster (a literal deep sea monster) and a mute female janitor (Sally Hawkins) who fall in love during the beginning of the Cold War in the early 1960s.

The film won the two biggest awards of the night, Best Picture and Best Director (Guillermo del Toro).
