Academy Award winner James Ivory (Call Me By Your Name, A Room With a View, Howard’s End, Remains of the Day) adapted the movie The Judge’s Will.
The movie is based on a New Yorker Magazine article that was written by Ivory’s collaborator, Ruth Prawer Jhabvala, who won Best Adapted Screenplay Oscars for Howard’s End and A Room With A View.
The Judge’s Will, directed by Alexander Payne (The Descendants), details the ailing relationship between a Delhi judge and his wife, each leading separate lives.
Ironically, Ivory is the oldest Oscar winner, to date. He was 89 when picking up the statuette in 2018 for Call Me By Your Name.
Stay tuned for The Judge’s Will casting updates and the movie trailer.
