Red Sonja (2022)
is a reboot of the 1985 movie of the same name, which features Brigitte Nielsen in the lead role.

The Red Sonja remake has been in the works at Millennium for over 15 years. In 2008, Robert Rodriguez teamed up with his then-girlfriend Rose McGowan for the project, making a big splashy announcement at Comic-Con that year (even creating two posters for the film, check them out below). But those two fell off the project and it has languished in development hell, with writers coming and going ever since.
