In the film The Woman in the Window, an agoraphobic woman (Oscar nominee Amy Adams) living alone in New York begins spying on her new neighbors only to witness a disturbing act of violence.
The film is based on the N.Y. Times best selling novel of the same name from deranged and disgraced author Dan Mallory.
Oscar winners Gary Oldman (Darkest Hour) and Julianne Moore (Still Alice) costar, along with Anthony Mackie, Wyatt Russell and Brian Tyree Henry.
Originally scheduled for release October 2019, the studio pulled the film from the 2019 release calendar after very bad test screenings. Audiences were confused.
It was then scheduled for release on May 15, 2020, the film was put on the shelf due to Wuhan coronavirus and all movie theaters in the world being closed. Its new, tentative, release date is TBD.
