The movie The Many Saints of Newark is a big screen prequel to The Sopranos, which is one of HBO’s most popular series of all time, and tells the story of the formative years of New Jersey gangster, Tony Soprano.

James Gandolfini’s real son, Michael Gandolfini, plays Tony Soprano in the big screen film from Warner Bros.

Originally scheduled for release on September 25, 2020, the film was put on the shelf due to Wuhan coronavirus and all movie theaters in the world being closed. Its new, tentative, release date is March 12, 2021.
