In the movie Bios, Tom Hanks stars as Finch, the last man on Earth. An ailing inventor facing his own mortality, Finch builds a robot to keep his beloved dog safe. As the trio embarks upon an epic cross-country journey, the scientist must teach his creation to become human enough to take care of its charge…and the beloved pet to accept a new master.
Bios is directed by Miguel Sapochnik, written by Craig Luck and Ivor Powell.
Originally scheduled for release on October 2, 2020, the film was put on the shelf due to Wuhan coronavirus and all movie theaters in the world being closed. Its new, tentative, release date is April 16, 2021.
