The Wes Anderson movie The French Dispatch is set in the 1950s and follows journalists. The film brings to life a collection of short stories of the final issue of an American magazine published in a fictional, 1950s, 20th Century French city.
Originally scheduled for release on July 24, 2020, the film was put on the shelf due to Wuhan coronavirus and all movie theaters in the world being closed. Its new, tentative, release date is TBD.
