The cast includes Michael Caine, Kenneth Branagh, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and John David Washington.

Originally scheduled for release on July 17, 2020, the film was put on the shelf due to Wuhan coronavirus and all movie theaters in the world being closed.

Tenet is the second major studio film to test the waters of a platform theatrical release since the Wuhan virus rendered all theaters closed. All movie theaters in California, Arizona, New York and many other states are still ordered closed by their governors.
