The debut film from writer-director Rose Glass, Saint Maud is a chilling and boldly original vision of faith, mortality, and salvation in a fallen world. Maud, a newly devout hospice nurse, becomes obsessed with saving her dying patient’s soul — but sinister forces, and her own sinful past, threaten to put an end to her holy calling.
Originally scheduled for release on March 27, 2020, the film was put on the shelf due to Wuhan coronavirus and all movie theaters in the world being closed. Its new release date was July 17, 2020. That date was put on ice, as all movie theaters remain closed through the summer. Its new release date is TBD.
