With the movie No Time to Die Daniel Craig returns as 007 for the fifth (and allegedly final) time in the 25th James Bond movie, based on the iconic character created by Ian Fleming.
In No Time To Die Bond (Craig) has left active service. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter (Jeffrey Wright) from the CIA turns up asking for help, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain (Oscar winner Rami Malek) armed with dangerous new technology.
Academy Award winning director Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire) was the original director of the film but was fired when producers weren’t happy with his vision.
Originally scheduled for release on April 8, 2020, the film was put on the shelf due to Wuhan coronavirus and all movie theaters in the world being closed. Its new, tentative, release date is November 20, 2020 April 2, 2021.
This is the first James Bond film to be released by Universal Pictures.
