Monster Hunter, the video game adaptation budgeted at around $60 million, arrives in theaters just in time for Labor Day Weekend 2020.
Resident Evil star Milla Jovovich stars, and her husband, director Paul W. S. Anderson, directs.
Like Resident Evil: the Final Chapter, which grossed $312 million worldwide, Monster Hunter was shot in South Africa, in and around Cape Town.
Originally scheduled for release on September 4, 2020, the film was put on the shelf due to Wuhan coronavirus and all movie theaters in the world being closed. Its new, tentative, release date is April 23, 2021 TBD.
