In the movie Bill & Ted Face The Music, AKA Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure 3, two would-be rockers from San Dimas, California – Bill & Ted – are once told they’d save the universe during a time-traveling adventure, but find themselves as middle-aged dads still trying to crank out a hit song and fulfill their destiny.
Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter reunite after starring in the original film, which debuted in 1989 and took in $40 million at the box office. A sequel, in which they both returned, arrived in theaters in 1992 and grabbed $$38 million at the box office.
Originally scheduled for theatrical release on August 14, 2020, due to COVID-19 and all movie theaters in the world being closed, the film bypassed a traditional theatrical release and debuted on Video On Demand and in select movie theaters on August 28, 2020.
