A Quiet Place 2 is the sequel to the 2018 box office smash A Quiet Place.
Following the deadly events at home, the Abbott family (Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe) must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight for survival in silence. Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path.
John Krasinski returned to write and direct. Time will tell if Krasinski appears in flashbacks, since his character dies in the original.
Originally scheduled for release on March 20, 2020, the film was put on the shelf due to Wuhan coronavirus and all movie theaters in the world being closed. Its new, tentative, release date is April 23, 2021.
