Once Upon A Time In Hollywood is the ninth feature length film from writer and director Quentin Tarantino. Reservoir Dogs (1992) was his first feature film.
Once Upon A Time In Hollywood is a story that takes place in Los Angeles in 1969, at the height of hippy Hollywood. The two lead characters are Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio), former star of a western TV series, and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt). Both are struggling to make it in a Hollywood they don’t recognize anymore. But Rick has a very famous next-door neighbor, Sharon Tate.
Margot Robbie plays Sharon Tate. Burt Reynolds, Dakota Fanning, Luke Perry, Damian Lewis, Kurt Russell, Emile Hirsch, Clifton Collins Jr., Timothy Olyphant, Zoe Bell, Michael Madsen and Kurt Russel, also co-star in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.
Bruce Dern took over the role that Burt Reynolds was supposed to play after the death of Reynolds.
Al Pacino stars as Marvin Shwarzs — Leonardo DiCaprio’s character’s agent in the film.
In addition, Damian Lewis plays acting icon Steve McQueen, Emile Hirsch is hairstylist Jay Sebring, Dakota Fanning is “Squeaky” Fromme — a member of the Manson family — and Nicholas Hammond is legendary director Sam Wanamaker.
