Director Christopher Landon returns to direct Happy Death Day 2U, the sequel to the box office hit of 2017.
The original film, Happy Death Day, earned $55,683,845 at the U.S. box office and another $66,954,033 overseas, on a $4.8 million budget.
Director Christopher Landon is the son of the late Michael Landon (Bonanza, Little House on the Prairie and Highway to Heaven).
