The big screen documentary Fiddler A Miracle of Miracles is an origin story behind one of Broadway’s most beloved musicals, (and Oscar winning movies), Fiddler on The Roof, and its creative roots in early 1960s New York, when “tradition” was on the wane as gender roles, sexuality, race relations and religion were evolving.
Oscar winning director Norman Jewison, (In The Heat of the Night, Moonstruck, Rollerball, A Soldiers Story, The Hurricane), directed the film version of Fiddler on the Roof.
