The movie Bombshell features Oscar nominee and Tony and Emmy Award winner John Lithgow (The World According To Garp) as disgraced media mogul Roger Ailes in the film that revolves around the women who took on the famed toxic male culture of the Fox News network that he launched in the 1990s.

Oscar winner Charlize Theron (Monster) portrays Megyn Kelly. Oscar winner Nicole Kidman (The Hours) is Gretchen Carlson. Oscar nominee Margot Robbie also stars.

The film was famously discarded by Annapurna Pictures because of budget overruns. However, it was immediately snatched up by Lionsgate.
