The studio has renamed this movie 21 Bridges. It seems that they have added 4, since the original title was 17 Bridges.
Thrust into a citywide manhunt for a pair of cop killers, a disgraced NYPD detective (Chadwick Boseman) uncovers a massive and unexpected conspiracy. As the night unfolds, lines become blurred on who he is pursuing, and who is in pursuit of him. When the search intensifies, extreme measures are taken to prevent the killers from escaping Manhattan as the authorities close all 17 bridges to prevent any entry or exit from the iconic island.
The film was originally scheduled for release in August, then pushed back to September. The cash strapped studio has now moved it to November 22, hoping that their film Hustlers, in theaters in September, is a hit and cash infusion to the studio.
