The movie Tully tells the story of Marlo (Charlize Theron), a mother of three including a newborn, who is gifted a night nanny by her brother. Hesitant to the extravagance at first, Marlo comes to form a unique bond with the thoughtful, surprising, and sometimes challenging young nanny named Tully (Mackenzie Davis).
Jason Reitman, son of Ivan Reitman (director of the original 1984 Ghostbusters), directs. Diablo Cody, who won an Oscar for writing the movie Juno, wrote Tully.
This is the third time Diablo Cody and Jason Reitman have collaborated. In addition to Juno they worked on the 2011 movie release Young Adult starring Charlize Theron.
