On the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Charlie, on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world, discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken.
Starring Hailee Steinfeld, John Cena, and Peter Cullen as the voice of Optimus Prime. The film is directed by Travis Knight.
Some things that might surprise you about the latest Transformers film; director Travis Knight is the director of the critically acclaimed film Kubo and The Two Strings, and the lead animator of the movies The Boxtrolls and ParaNorman. Bumblebee is his first live action film, although, it is replete with CGI.
