In the movie Beirut, a U.S. diplomat (Jon Hamm) flees Lebanon in 1972 after a tragic incident at his home. Ten years later, he is called back to war-torn Beirut by CIA operatives (Rosamund Pike) to negotiate for the life of a friend he left behind.
John Hamm is best known for playing Don Draper on TV’s “Mad Men”. He was nominated for the Emmy Award for his role each of the eight years he was on the show, winning the Emmy for the final season.
Hamm is also seen in the movies Nostalgia and Tag this year, opposite Jeremy Renner, Ed Helms and Isla Fisher.
