The movie Beautiful Boy chronicles meth addiction and recovery through the eyes of a father David Sheff (Steve Carell) who watches his son Nic (2018 Best Actor Oscar nominee, Timothée Chalamet, Call Me By Your Name) as he struggles with the disease.

The movie is based on the memoirs “Beautiful Boy: A Father’s Journey Through His Son’s Addiction” by David Sheff and “Tweak: Growing Up on Methamphetamines,” by Nic Sheff.
