Based on the play by renowned Russian author Anton Chekhov, The Seagull is brought to the screen by Tony Award-winning director Michael Mayer (2007 Best Direction of a Musical, “Spring Awakening”) and Tony Award-winning screenwriter Stephen Karam (2016 Best Play, “The Humans”).
