Vin Diesel made his film debut in Steven Spielberg’s Oscar winning Saving Private Ryan in 1998. He then shot to fame after portraying Dominic Toretto in The Fast and the Furious in 2001. In between Saving Private Ryan and The Fast and the Furious, Diesel starred as Richard B. Riddick in Pitch Black (2000), which went on to spawn two sequels, The Chronicles of Riddick (2004) and Riddick (2013).
His voice is well known as the character Groot in the Guardians of the Galaxy films.
