In the movie We Are the Flesh, from director Emiliano Romano Minter, after wandering a ruined city for years in search of food and shelter, two siblings find their way into one of the last remaining buildings. Inside, they find a man who will make them a dangerous offer to survive the outside world.
We Are the Flesh is the fourth film in Mexico to achieve the most restrictive rating, which is the “D” certificate. Only this film as well as Eli Roth’s Hostel (2005), Michael Winterbottom’s 9 Songs (2004) and Gaspar Noé’s Love (2015) have gotten this certificate, which is usually given to pornographic films.
