In Marvel Studios’ Thor Ragnarok (Thor 3), Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok–the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization–at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But first he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger–the Incredible Hulk!
Thor Ragnarok contains three members of the Secret Defenders superhero group: Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), the Incredible Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch). Doctor Strange is the founding member of the Secret Defenders.
The first Thor arrived in theaters in 2011 and took in $181 million domestically. Thor: The Dark World (Thor 2), was released in 2013 and grabbed $206 million at the North American box office.
For Thor Ragnarok, the Marvel logo is shaded green, the Hulk’s traditional color (and also the colors for Loki and Hela).
