Christopher Plummer (The Sound of Music) was nominated for a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his role in the 2017 film All The Money In The World. In that film, he replaced Kevin Spacey, whose part was cut.
Plummer won a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his role as a gay man in the movie Beginners, which was released in 2010.
