It has been 10 years since the events of Terminator. One of the few sequels to surpass the original in quality and at the box office, Terminator 2 arrives back in theaters this summer as Terminator 2 3D. The James Cameron classic, which was released six years before his masterpiece, Titanic, features Arnold Schwarzenegger as the T-800.
Terminator 2 was the highest grossing movie of 1991, taking in $204 million in U.S. theaters and over $500 million, worldwide. Adjusted for inflation, the amount today would be well over $1 billion.
The exclusive trailer for Terminator 2 3D features a number of clips from the film, many with noticeable updates to the special effects, including a shot from the post-apocalyptic battle in the opening sequence.
