In the movie Stray Bullets, in upstate New York, two teenage boys are tasked with cleaning out their father’s old mobile home on an abandoned property, but the boys are in for a surprise when they discover three crooks on the run have taken refuge in the trailer.
Writer/Director Jack Fessenden began work on the Stray Bullets at age 14, and finished it at 16. However, Fessenden has been universally criticized for coming off as very arrogant in interviews while promoting the film.
Jack Fessenden’s father, Larry (star of the low budget cult classic, Stakeland), was originally set to direct the remake of The Orphanage (2007) and wrote the script with Guillermo del Toro, but after some differences arose during casting, Larry Fessenden left the production and Mark Pellington replaced him.
