Rebels on Pointe introduces audiences to New York City’s unique and widely acclaimed all-male ballet company, Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo.
The drag dance company, affectionately known as “The Trocks,” was founded over 40 years ago on the heels of the Stonewall riots, and has since developed a passionate following around the globe.
Exploring universal themes of identity, dreams and family, Rebels on Pointe juxtaposes intimate behind-the-scenes access, rich archives and history, engaging character driven stories, and dance performances shot in North America, Europe and Japan.
