Patriots Day Release Date: December 21, 2016

An account of Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis’s actions in the events leading up to the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing and the aftermath, which includes the city-wide manhunt to find the terrorists behind it.

Mark Wahlberg headlines the movie Patriots Day, which is directed by Peter Berg.

Patriots Day gets a limited awards qualifying run on December 21, 2016. It arrives in theaters nationwide on Friday the 13th of January 2017.
