From Disney comes two-time Oscar winner Brad Bird’s riveting, mystery adventure Tomorrowland, starring Academy Award winner George Clooney.
Bound by a shared destiny, former boy-genius Frank (Clooney), jaded by disillusionment, and Casey (Britt Robertson), a bright, optimistic teen bursting with scientific curiosity, embark on a danger-filled mission to unearth the secrets of an enigmatic place somewhere in time and space known only as Tomorrowland. What they must do there changes the world – and them – forever.
Simply put, in Tomorrowland, a teenage girl, a genius middle-aged man – played by George Clooney – (who was kicked out of Tomorrowland) and a pre-pubescent girl robot attempt to get to and unravel what happened to Tomorrowland, which exists in an alternative dimension, in order to save Earth.
Featuring a screenplay by Lost writer & co-creator Damon Lindelof and Brad Bird, from a story by Damon Lindelof & Brad Bird & Jeff Jensen, the movie Tomorrowland promises to take audiences on a thrill ride of nonstop adventures through new dimensions that have only been dreamed of.
Director of Tomorrowland, Brad Bird, first made a name for himself as the director of Iron Giant and then Disney/Pixar’s The Incredibles.
Brad Bird also directed the Disney/Pixar hit Ratatouille, which won the 2008 Oscar for Best Animated Film.
He then went on to direct Tom Cruise in the box office hit Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol.
