In Mission Impossible 5 IMF agent Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) is tracked down by The Syndication, a highly trained organization of rogue assassins that kill on order. With the help of his colleagues, he plans to bring The Syndication down by any means necessary.
Paramount Pictures had originally set the film for a December 25, 2015 release but moved it up to July 31, 2015. The main reason for the release date change was to avoid competition with Star Wars 7 and the James Bond picture Spectre.
The Mission Impossible movies, since 2004, have been the only movies featuring Tom Cruise in the lead role, that have earned more than $100 million at the movie box office.
