The ultra low budget documentary Heart Of A Dog, from the unknown by most of the world’s population, Laurie Anderson (a complete nutter), was shot entirely with her iPhone and reflects on the deaths of her husband, Lou Reed, her mother, her beloved dog, and such diverse subjects as family memories, surveillance, and Buddhist teachings.
The film plays exclusively in art house theaters.
Of course, the majority of movie critics, who are, for the most part, nutters, find the mess of film entrancing, poetic, haunting and lyrical.
