Going Clear is a devastating two hour documentary based on Lawrence Wright’s book of the same name. Scientology is laid bare by a film that skilfully knits together archive footage, testimonials from former high ranking officials and public, and dramatic reconstructions.

The film was released in one theater in Los Angeles for one week prior to its debut on HBO (March 29, 2015), in order to qualify for 2016 Oscar nominations.
The official title of the film is Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief.
