In the movie Exeter, originally entitled Backmask, a group of teenagers accidentally release an evil spirit that starts to possess them one by one.
During a party, six teenagers find an old vinyle record and decide to play it backwards in order to listen for any subliminal/satanic messages. Low and behold, a seemingly malevolent spirit quickly infiltrates the group, wreaking havoc as it moves from one body to another.
Marcus Nispel, director of the 2003 Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake, the 2009 Friday The 13th remake and 2011 Conan The Barabarian remake directed the movie Exeter in 2012.
