The movie Winter’s Tale – yes, not “A” Winter’s Tale, just “Winter’s Tale” – is a fantasy story set in 19th Century and present-day Manhattan and revolves around a thief, a dying girl, and a flying white horse.
Sounds far-fetched and complicated… and like it will be a big, fat bomb at the movie box office.
Coming from the horrible producer Akiva Goldsman, it is it sure to be a movie box office bomb.
Akiva Goldsman actually stuck Will Smith in a cameo in Winter’s Tale. Akiva Goldsman produced I Am Legend, the upcoming I Am legend 2 and Hancock, all starring Will Smith, along with the bombs Starsky & Hutch, Deep Blue Sea, Poseidon, Jonah Hex and Lost In Space.
Warner Bros. threw money away on this movie, for sure, and also threw Akiva Goldsman a bone, as he is a horrible director. Until now, he had never directed a feature film. He has only directed four (of the worst) episodes of Fringe and one episode of the dreadful show Kings, that lasted all of one season, in 2009.
