Muppets and monsters are the perfect match. So Disney, which owns The Muppets franchise, is playing an all new Monsters University (Monsters Inc.) short, Party Central, before The Muppets: Most Wanted.
In the six-minute short Party Central Mike and Sulley and their Oozma Kappa frat brothers try to throw a monster blowout party but are dismayed to find that no one is showing up. Fortunately, they have some extra inter-dimensional doors handy, which they put to creative use to get the party rocking.
Will Party Central win the 2015 Oscar for Best Animated Short?
Doubtful, since Party Central was initially conceived as an extra to put on the Monsters University DVD. But do stay tuned.
