The third in The Chronicles Of Riddick big screen franchise, starring Vin Diesel. Pitch Black was the first movie in the Riddick franchise. It was released in 2000. The second film in the series, The Chronicles Of Riddick, launched in 2004. Nearly 10 years after the second Riddick comes the third in the sci-fi saga, Riddick.
