A big screen spin-off of Disney’s Cars.
Dusty is a cropdusting plane who dreams of competing in a famous aerial race. The problem? He is hopelessly afraid of heights. With the support of his mentor Skipper and a host of new friends, Dusty sets off to make his dreams come true.
Disney’s Planes is being released in August, typically one of the worst months of the year for box office revenue, but don’t count out Planes making a boatload of money. (Maybe Disney’s Boats next?)
UPDATE: arrives in movie theaters July 18, 2014. It is officially titled Planes: Fire And Rescue.
