The cast from the first Grown Ups movie returns (with some new additions).
Lenny (Adam Sandler) has relocated his family back to the small town where he and his friends grew up. This time around, the grown ups are the ones learning lessons from their kids on a day notoriously full of surprises: the last day of school.
Adam Sandler, (along with a litany of other former A-list actors), has had bomb after bomb at the movie box office, as of late.
The first Grown Ups movie earned more than $160 million at the U.S. movie box office and is the last feature film starring Adam Sandler to gross more than $103 million at the box office. (Jack & Jill, That’s My Boy and Zookeeper (which he produced and leant his voice) all bombed, each taking in much less than $100 million. Just Go With It barely climbed past the $100 million mark… $103 million.
If Grown Ups 2 bombs, it may be the end for Adam Sandler’s career as an actor.
