The movie Epic tells the story of an ongoing battle deep in the forest between the forces of good who keep the natural world alive and the forces of evil who wish to destroy it. When a teen age girl finds herself magically transported into this secret universe, she must band together with a rag-tag team of fun and whimsical characters in order to save their world… and ours.
The movie Epic almost looks like a remake of the animated box office bomb FernGully, also from Fox. However, since the movie Epic arrives in theaters Memorial Day weekend, 2013, and there will be hardly anything else for ‘families’ to run to, Epic will undoubtedly make some serious cash. The trailer makes the movie look pretty lame, but you decide.
