The 82 year old Costa-Gavras won the Best Original Screenplay for his 1982 movie Missing, for which Jack Lemon received a Best Actor Oscar nomination and Sissy Spacek received a Best Actress Oscar nomination.
Costa-Gavras won the Best Adapted Screenplay Oscar for Missing.
