A big screen comedy starring Tina Fey and Paul Rudd.
Straight-laced Princeton University admissions officer Portia Nathan (Tina Fey) lives by the book, both at work and at home. But Portia is caught off-guard when she makes a recruiting visit to an alternative high school overseen by her former college classmate, the free-wheeling John Halsey (Paul Rudd). Halsey has surmised that Jeremiah, his gifted yet very unconventional student, might well be the son that Portia secretly gave up for adoption many years ago. Soon, Portia finds herself bending the rules for Jeremiah, putting at risk the life she thought she always wanted — but in the process finding her way to a surprising and exhilarating life and romance she never dreamed of having.
Director of Admission, Chris Weitz (Twilight: New Moon and About A Boy), is the brother of Paul Weitz. The two of them co-directed the first American Pie movie in 1999. Their mother is Oscar nominated actress Susan Kohner (Best Supporting Actress Oscar nominee for the 1959 version of Imitation Of Life).
