CBS Films, the film’s distributor, has struggled since it rebooted itself in 2010. It has not had a box office hit, rather an array of bombs including; Beastly, The Back-Up Plan, Extraordinary Measures, Faster, The Mechanic and Salmon Fishing In The Yemen. Add The Words to the list of CBS Films bombs, as it will surely be one.
