Jack Reacher is 6 feet, 5 inches tall, a full one foot taller than Tom Cruise is in real life. Saying that Tom Cruise playing Jack Reacher is a stretch, pun intended, is an understatement. If Tom Cruise had not produced the movie (put up most of the money himself, and believed in himself so much) there is no way he would have been cast in the role. There is an outcry from Jack Reacher fans worldwide – Tom Cruise is no Jack Reacher, no matter how much CGI is employed.
